LifeWorks Unlimited was founded by executive coach and career counsellor Doris Sew Hoy in 2007. She started coaching professionally in 1999 when she became an accredited coach with Ashridge Business School, Europe’s leading UK executive management development centre based in Hertfordshire. She has also trained with top US coach training organisation, Newfield Network, which specialises in ontological coaching.

Prior to becoming a coach, Doris’ international career spanned over 20 years across many of industries in both private and public sectors including energy, telecommunications, financial markets, broadcasting and management education.

Doris was educated in New Zealand, USA and UK, and holds a B.Comm (Hons) in Economics from Otago University, MBA from Durham University Business School, and M.Sc. in Organisational Behaviour from Birkbeck College, University of London.

She is also qualified to use a range of psychometric instruments (e.g. Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Firo-B), and has trained as a career counsellor with Career Counselling Services (CSS). She is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and subscribes to the EMCC Code of Ethics.
